School Rebuilding Project, Thailand

 Pakklong School

Cradle and Festival Republic are happy to announce that they have finished building of the Pakklong school in Thailand.

The school was officially opened on the 13th October 2009.

Pakklong is a school in the Kapong District of Thailand, north of Phuket. It caters for 101 children between the ages of 3 to 12 years old.

The old school building was over 40 years old and dilapidated. It had only three classrooms, which meant that children were packed into a very small space and forced to work in hot and cramped conditions.

The new school building will provide much better conditions and improve both the quality of the lessons and the students’ ability to work.

We hope that the new facilities will provide the children with the safe, calm and inspiring environment they need to study.
